Arizona National Cemetery 11/19/2010
The Arizona National Cemetery is awe-inspiring. Set in natural Sonora desert surroundings it is quiet and respectful of the eternal rest our veterans deserve. It is the only National Cemetery allowed to fly a state flag. The Arizona state flag is proudly displayed on a flagpole salvaged from the USS Arizona in Pearl Harbor. I was fortunate to visit here on the anniversary of President Lincoln's Gettysburg address.
